Error Correcting Performance of 2D LDPC Codes with Masking

Abstract(in English) A 2 dimensional LDPC code proposed by Matcha et. al can correct large 2 dimensional erasure patterns. They gave a lower bound of the size of burst erasure errors which can be corrected by their code. We proposed a similar 2D LDPC code and specify the size of burst erasure errors which can be corrected by our code.
