A Proposal of Impulse Noise Removal Method Based on Boundary Discriminative Noise Detection

Abstract(in English) A novel method for salt-and-pepper type impulse noise removal is proposed. In the proposed method, noise positions are detected using a boundary discriminative noise detection method and an interpolation process is applied to the detected pixels. The interpolator is a method obtained by improving an existing method which considers spatial biases of noise positions. The feature of the proposed method is shown through experiments.
