Abstract(in English) | Development of technology to control cellular tissue activity to a desired state by measuring and analyzing spontaneous activity and/or stimulus-induced response of the tissue and sequentially updating the stimulus parameters based on the analysis has attracted much attention in recent years. Although this technology is expected to be applicable to, for example, the deep brain stimulation used in clinical practice, or advanced maturation of stem cell-derived functional tissue, the knowledge obtained from fundamental research are still insufficient to establish it. Therefore, as an experimental research platform for that purpose, we developed an analog-digital mixed system that performs the current stimulation and the activity measurement from cellular tissue in vitro with multi electrode interface, and we verified operations of this system. |
