Abstract(in English) | Magnetization reversal process under the microwave assistance and microwave-assisted signal recording characteristics were numerically estimated assuming granular type exchange coupled composite media. Magnetization curves under the microwave fields become narrower when microwave frequency is high, resulting in low coercivity due to the microwave assistance for both the monolayer and exchange coupled composite media. When the microwave frequency exceeds a particular frequency, the hysteresis curves showed the extra step and the saturation field increases and is comparable to that without microwave assistance, which attributes to unstable magnetization precessions under the microwave fields. Coherency of the magnetization reversal were numerically characterized to estimate thermal stability for the media. Exchange coupled composite media with relatively soft magnetic layer showed incoherent reversal under the DC field. On the other hand the nudged elastic band calculation revealed that coherent rotation follows the minimum energy path when DC field is absent and estimated minimum energy barrier height were thermally stable at the room temperature. Signal recording simulation presented that microwave field induces ferromagnetic resonance at the soft layer and enhances writability, and then the signal to noise ratio increases. |
