Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | "APRICOT: APplause for Realistic-Immersive Contents Transmission" system has been proposed by the authors. The system can feed back the applause sound that occurred at the venue of the live viewing venue to the performance venue, in order to improve the sense of unity and participation of live viewing. This paper describes an attempt to automate applause sound detection, which needs to be implemented in the APRICOT. Also, we assumed that APRICOT will be used for speech and presentation in alternate to music content, and tried to detect applause sound in a live distribution of the lecture. Experimental results showed that using the adaptive filter to emphasize the sounds generated at the venue and using the information of the error signal of adaptive filter, it was possible to detect applause sound in the lecture practically accurately. In the music content, it is also expected that it can be improved by combining not only the amplitude information but also with the frequency information. |
