Abstract(in English) The internal structure of the Internet becomes a black box for end users and applications and it is difficult to manage wide area network. Thus, we have developed KANVAS (knowledge base system in wide Area Networks with Versatility, Availability and Scalability). KANVAS stores various network information as an instance of a network ontology called Bonsai in the knowledge base (KB) and provides the knowledge to users. However, since the instance representation of the network configuration information is currently generated by human, it is complicated and easy to make mistake. This paper proposes an automatic mechanism for generating network con- figuration instances based on Bonsai.The design consists of the API module, the KSS interface module, the MIB acquisition module, the controller module, the server discrimination module, and the instance generation module, the MIB acquisition module and the instance generation module. We measured the processing time of each module. The results show that the processing time is reasonable in the practical environment.
