Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Underwater acoustic communication is used for remote control and information transmission in remotely operated vehicle (ROV) and autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV). Since acoustic communication is sensitive to Doppler shift, Doppler shift compensation is indispensable when a terminal is moving. Doppler shift compensation takes resampling processing with a high-order filter and required enormous computations. In this research, we study a complexity reduction method that resampling processing is substituted by interpolation processing in function approximation. We report the comparison of computational complexity in each method and performance evaluation based on sea trial data.
