Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, traffic of video streaming data is increasing. Therefore, MPEG-DASH, which is one of the protocols adaptively changing the video quality according to the user's network bandwidth. in the video streaming service, has been developed . In some researches of MPEG-DASH, an algorithm with theoretical approach has been proposed by using queueing theory. In this analysis, it is assumed that the traffic load is only $100%$. In addition, despite the fact that it is important to take into consideration also the loss rate of the segment cite{dash_loss}, which means the unit of reproduction of the video, the conventional method does not consider the segment loss rate. In this paper, we propose a method by considering segment loss rate. Moreover, we show a characteristic analysis focusing buffer occupancy.
