Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) As one solution to the declining population, expectations are gathering for further popularization of industrial robots. However, the function of the current industrial robot is focused on stabilizing and improving productivity, and its contribution to labor saving is limited. In the next generation industrial robot that contributes to labor saving in factories, it is required to improve intelligence and physical ability for autonomization, and therefore, a lot of research is progressing all over the world now. In this paper, we summarize the functions required for next-generation industrial robots and introduce the next-generation industrial robot system we are developing.
