Abstract(in English) We present a full 90-nm C+L-band (1530-1620 nm) mode hop free wavelength tunable LD in which we developed a new wavelength tuning mechanism with three wavelength tunable filters having a different operation wavelengths. By simultaneously controlling the optical filter wavelength and the Fabry-Perot mode of the LD, we have successfully tuned its wavelength without mode hopping. A linewidth of less than 8 kHz and a relative intensity noise (RIN) below -130 dB/Hz were simultaneously achieved over the C+L-band range.
