Abstract(in English) | The volume of traffic sent from cars to data centers via data communication network will increase with the number of cars supporting data communication module. The performance of network is progressing thanks to the technological evolution, however, the cars cannot always benefit from the high performance network because of the traffic concentration in the network. Therefore, we need the technology for the cars to send data to the network efficiently. In this report, we focus on the segment routing, standardization of which is in progress at IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force), and propose the explicit congestion notification (ECN) using the network programmability functions of IPv6 segment routing (SRv6). In our method, it is possible for a sender of data to detect the point of congestion in the path to the receiver, by adding in the ECN as the network programmability function to the SRv6. As a result, it enables to control the data traffic from a sender more sophisticatedly, for example, the source routing bypassing the congestion point. |
