Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, it has been attempted to use speech recognition software as a means of information accessibility support to hearing impaired. However, at a conference where unspecified speakers gather, there is a problem that speech recognition rate is low and information accessibility support to hearing impaired can not be satisfied satisfactorily. On the other hand, even if it is an unspecified speaker, rate of the speech recognition software greatly improves by improving the utterance method such as speaking slowly and adjusting the time between words. But speech recognition software can’t detect a decrease in recognition rate by itself. Therefore, in this research, we proposed a method to detect misrecognition by comparing output results of two speech recognition software. I report in this paper that we developed a prototype system that embodies the method to detect misrecognition. And as a result of applying the prototype system to a small number of people conference, we confirmed it is possible to detect a decrease in speech recognition rate and to recover the recognition rate by feedback to conference participants.
