[Poster Presentation] Communication performance improvement by CDMA in PLC-based multiple machine control systems

Abstract(in English) This study discusses a multiple-device control system using power line communication. The signal to noise ratio of PLC channels have cyclostationary features that are synchronous to the mains voltage. When time division multiple access is used in such channels, the error rate characteristic greatly differs slot by slot, which adversely affects the control of each device. This report, thus proposes to employ code division multiple access with orthogonal spreading code. With this method the communication performance of each machine is equalized and the overall communication performance is improved without loss of frequency efficiency.
