Abstract(in English) | In this paper, for constructing flexible underwater wireless network, we discussed visible light simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (VL-SWIPT) which is a combination of visible light communication (VLC) and optical wireless power transfer (OWPT). In this system, the received optical signal is used for both data communication and power transfer, and it is realized by the designed AC/DC separation filter. As an underwater channel model, we employ Beer-Lambert law and generalized Lambertian radiation. In addition, we analyzed the bit error rate (BER) performance and power supply performance for the solar panel based VL-SWIPT using intensity modulation and direct detection (IM/DD). As a modulation scheme for IM/DD, we consider on-off keying (OOK), pulse position modulation (PPM) and inverse PPM (IPPM). As a result, maximum bit rate of 400 kbps is achieved for the system with OOK. For PPM and IPPM, maximum bit rate is 350 kbps. In the power supply performance, for IPPM, the output voltage fluctuation with the bit rate of 20 kbps to 350 kbps is within the target of 10 %. |
