| Abstract(in English) | This paper review technical trends related to Optical network in 44th European Conference on Optical Communication （ECOC2018）held in Rome, Italy from September 23 to 27, 2018. Keywords were disaggregation and machine learning in the optical network field. There were many presentations aimed at construction of metro network that efficiently accommodates traffic from fifth-generation mobile communication and data center. For the construction of metro network, the applicability of technologies such as disaggregation and machine learning was considered. |
