Fabrication and Opto-electric Characterization of Quantum-dot light-emitting diodes

Abstract(in English) Quantum-dots (QDs) are solution-processed nanoscale crystals of semiconducting materials. Quantum-dot light-emitting diodes (QLEDs) are a competitive alternative to organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) and a potential candidate for next generation display (8K TV). Although in typical structure of QLEDs with Cd-based QDs, hole injection barrier from hole transport layer to the QD layer is about 1 eV, high current efficiency of the QLEDs was reported in literature. In this presentation, we have fabricated solution-processed QLEDs with Cd-based QDs, have evaluated the characteristics, and have investigated an emission mechanism.
