Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In view of the declining birthrate and the aging of the population, a growing importance has been given to maintenance-saving of railway equipment. One of the measures is the implementation of the on-board train control system. It is necessary for the on-board train control system to exchange information with the wayside equipment via a radio communication channel, which requires more strict security review. In this report, we summarize the threats in communication and describe the results of consideration on items required for security in train control via a communication channel.
