Abstract(in English) | This paper proposes a new congestion control of Multi--Path TCP(MPTCP) for improvement of Quality of Experience for Web services(WebQoE).This method estimates the fluctuation of Quality of Service(QoS) from the measurement of the Round Trip Time(RTT) and suppresses the fluctuation to improve WebQoE.To suppress the fluctuation of QoS in one connection,this method detects congestion based on the queueing delay and controls the congestion window for each subflow. The authors implemented the proposed method and evaluated QoS by experiment.The experimental results show that the proposed method can suppress the fluctuation of QoS as compared with the existing congestion controls of MPTCP under not only a uniform environment whose communication quality of multiple paths is equivalent to each other but also a heterogeneous environment whose communication quality of multiple paths is different to each other. |
