Abstract(in English) In Japan, the railway communication systems have been introduced for safely operating trains since the opening of the railway. In this paper, we report examples of utilization of millimeter wave, microwave, photonics technology to mainly railway communication system. And we also report on the research and development to utilize the Microwave, Millimeter-wave and Photonics technology.
