[Poster Presentation] Interference Characteristic Evaluation by Lighting Placement in LED Visible Light Communications

Abstract(in English) This paper evaluates interference characteristics according to LED lighting and photodetector position in signal transmission with plural LEDs and photodetectors. The evaluation results show that there are appropriate values of LED lighting interval to the incident angle limitation of photodetectors, and interference from plural LED lightings at each photodetector can effectively be reduced by LED lighting placement based on the results. The results also show that the incident direction control of photodetectors can separate transmission signals from LED lightings. This shows the feasibility of spatial multiplexing in visible light communications.
