Abstract(in English) | Wireless drone mesh networks are wireless multihop networks composed of multiple drones in the air. In such networks, the wireless links among drones will be line-of-sight and hence unobstructed in general, thereby causing severe capacity degradation due to high interference. In this article we propose a novel data delivery scheme for wireless drone mesh networks, where each drone on every end-to-end path is equipped with transmit and receive directional antennas, and adjusts their directions so as to maximize the throughput performance. We evaluate the performance of the proposed scheme with computer simulation experiments. |
