Abstract(in English) | Recent years, increasing the operational cost of network management due to complicated IT infrastructure is becoming a serious problem. Especially, diversification and/or huge volume of networking devices and spread using virtualization technology leads more complex operations including physical and virtual perspectives, and the cost of incident handling are increasing year by year. Automation of the treatment for incidents are therefore becoming much attracted. In this paper, we propose a method of automatic fault isolation. Our method proceed, following four steps, i.e., 1.definition of inspection processes with dependency, 2.choose inspection processes, 3.make fault isolation flow after the classification processes by layers of networking architecture, and 4.update reputations. We develop an fault isolation system using StackStorm (st2) as a Proof-of-Concept system. |
