Analysis of the recalling process of associative memory model with astrocyte function

Abstract(in English) While it may take some time for humans to recall specific memories, the associative memory model constructed by interconnecting neural network can recall stored patterns in few steps for given key patterns. We assumed that functions of astrocyte should effect on the temporal characteristics in human recall processing, and proposed a neuro-astrocyte associative memory model. The results of simulations showed the recalling process of different stored patterns or cycled non-stored two patterns by the degree of regulation of the connection weight, and the transitions to non-stored pattern from stored pattern by regulation of the excitability of neurons.
