Abstract(in English) | In Society 5.0 proposed as a new social system, wireless communication networks play a crucial role, and an ultra-big data creation driver (BDD) has been developed as a fundamental network that collects vast array of data from the area of tens of kilometers by using local access systems and a backbone access system. A multi-hop wireless regional area network (WRAN) system consisting of a large number of relay stations (RSs) is applied to the backbone access system, and each RS collects data in its local area where the amount of generated data constantly changes. Meanwhile, available radio resources for the entire system are limited and thus, it is essential to allocate radio resources flexibly and optimally to each multi-hop link. In the previous work, we proposed a radio resource allocation algorithm for the multi-hop WRAN system and a routing algorithm enabling automatic selection of optimum wireless link based on sensing information about neighboring RSs for efficient use of the radio resources. In this report, we implement the proposed algorithm to actual WRAN radio equipment and perform the field experiment of the multi-hop WRAN network in the campus of Kyoto University. The experimental results demonstrate the feasibility and practicality of the proposed algorithm under the actual radio environment. |
