Abstract(in English) | Nowadays PDF document files are used by many people. Because of its popularity, the illegal use of PDF files may cause a serious trouble. Therefore, the watermarking technique is necessary to dissuade users from illegal use. In this paper, we propose a watermarking scheme which divides PDF document files into small segments like lines for enabling segment-wise embedding. The segment-wise embedding method enables us to apply to a fingerprinting system so that illegal users can be identified from a pirated copy. Through computer simulation, the changes of PDF file size and its processing speed are numerically evaluated. |
