Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In radio communication represented by LTE, wireless propagation environment includes fading generated on the field. In this environment, typical fading models are used as lab test for evaluating radio communication modules. And field test is also performed because many kinds of fading patterns exist on the real environment (field). However, field test has many problems: takes many times, man power and money, needs infrastructure, and low reproducibility. On the other hand, wireless propagation simulation based on ray tracing which is applied for area design of mobile communication can calculate wireless propagation data under certain conditions on software. However, the construction of the wireless propagation environment by RF based on the simulation data is difficult. Azimuth Company’s ACE-RNX Channel Emulator can add fading based on the calculated data to RF signals by the CIR function. Therefore a developing radio communication module can be evaluated at the simulation phase. In addition, ACE-RNX can reproduce wireless propagation environment partially based on the field log that has some trouble on the field by FTL function. The lab test using these functions reflected these wireless propagation environment and reduces the field problems and makes wireless evaluation more efficient. |
