Abstract(in English) | The needs of home security systems are increasing against the background of the solitary old people’s increase. As functions of the home security system, crime prevention function, watching function, monitoring func- tion, energy saving function, etc. can be considered. We are studying video surveillance system to realize crime prevention / watching / monitoring function within this. Conventional video surveillance systems have installed surveillance cameras in various places, but as the number of cameras increases, installation work also becomes nec- essary. Also, it will definitely make a blind spot. Therefore, we are developing a video surveillance system using a drone that fly a drone equipped with a camera. This system makes the drones autonomous flight and watches video from the drones in real time or accumulates images. The drone performs autonomous flight along a preset flight route, but it is assumed that obstacles are placed on the flight route. Therefore, we developed a method to detect obstacles by attaching an ultrasonic sensor to the drone and autonomously avoid obstacles. In this paper, we describe autonomous flight method and obstacle avoidance method along droon’s flight route. |
