[Invited Talk] Dynamical robustness of complex networks

Abstract(in English) There are many systems regarded as complex networks in the real world, including engineering networks such as communication and power networks, biological networks such as neural networks and cell signaling pathways, and social networks such as human relationship and SNS. These networks developed to possess complex topology for achieving efficient transmission of information and transportation of things. On the other hand, in these networks, unfavorable things such as failures and viruses can also widely spread over the whole network. There is a risk that local failure events cause a breakdown of the whole system. So far, several mathematical frameworks have been proposed to study network robustness against failures and attacks. In this invited talk, after providing an overview of representative frameworks, I will mainly introduce the framework called ``dynamical robustness of complex networks'' for analyzing failure tolerance of dynamical behavior on complex networks.
