Analysis of Plasmonic Waveguide Filter Connected to Si Waveguide

Abstract(in English) We demonstrate a plasmonic waveguide filter of an MIM (Metal-Insulator-Metal) structure with equal-ripple 0.5dB or maximally flat filter can be designed in the same way as one with equal-ripple 3.0dB filter. Moreover, we analyze the wavelength characteristics for these filters connected to an Si waveguide, and show that the filters have good performance as long-wavelength pass filter.
