Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Arrival direction of reflected sound is one of important factors to characterize spatial impression. An impulse response can be divided into two segments, early reflections and late reverberation, and a diffused sound field is often assumed for the late reverberation. However, it is reported that the spatial distribution of the arrival direction of reflected sound is not uniform. In this paper, we employ a spherical microphone array and analyze the spatial distribution of reflected sound by applying plane wave decomposition. From the measurement performed in a concert hall, certain biases are observed in the spatial distribution of late reverberation and the biases are more prominent as the time proceeds. In addition, it is indicated that the spatial distribution depends on the relation between the sound source and the receiver position.
