Abstract(in English) MLFF-ETC rode side antennas for three traffic lanes with a road shoulder using single carrier frequency was reported so far, however they were large in size or interference fringes existed in the communication area. In this research, a set of four small road side antenna placed at the outside the lanes was proposed for easier maintenance of the wireless system. The antennas were designed to radiate only the communication area and to suppress the fringes in the communication area. As a result, The area ratio 98% in the communication area is illuminated with the required power by the designed antenna. and the effectiveness of the antenna was indicated by using raytrace simulation.
