Abstract(in English) | Because of reported optical transparency and photovoltaic generation, an application of NiO/ZnO pn-junctions can be expected as a visible-light-transparent solar cell. However, fabrication by electrochemical deposition (ECD), which is attractive for low-cost solar cell producing, is not reported yet. Hence, we attempt to research NiO/ZnO thin-film solar cell fabricated by ECD. Previously, we reported that NiO film fabricated by ECD involving water electrolysis had higher transparency and smoother surface morphology than conventional electrochemical deposited film. This time, we report that the first photovoltaic generation of electrochemical deposited NiO/ZnO pn-junction are demonstrated. |
