Abstract(in English) | The tropospheric duct phenomenon occurs when the refractive index of the atmosphere in the troposphere is reversed and in the duct layer the radio waves are bent in the direction of the earth's surface and multiple reflection occurs so that abnormal propagation to the far side than usual . We have analyzed radio wave propagation characteristics on the sea surface considering the atmospheric distribution using the PE method, but it has not been verified by actual measurement. In this paper, we measured the atmospheric temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure using Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), found the modified refractive index, and evaluated radio wave propagation characteristics at sea. In the modified refractive index, the characteristics are equivalent to those of the standard atmosphere, and the radio wave propagation characteristics are equivalent to those of the standard atmosphere. |
