Thin film fabrication of lead halide perovskite using a single source vacuum deposition

Abstract(in English) Organic-inorganic lead halide perovskite materials have much attention as new optoelectronic materials. In this paper, we report a fabrication method of perovskite thin film by using vacuum deposition. We have studied a unique deposition method which uses perovskite crystals as a single evaporation source. In the single source vacuum deposition, a decomposition of the perovskite crystals into the organic and inorganic components and a reorganization into the organic-inorganic hybrid on the substrate occur during the deposition process. Hence the properties of the thin film change dramatically by the vapor deposition conditions. We also demonstrate a mixed crystal formation which occurs at a heterointerface of perovskites.
