Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Radar cross section (RCS) of small group target composed of multiple elements can be calculated approximately by array composition of elements RCS. In this study, we analyze RCS of a small group of airplane models using array composition and comparison between its result and one obtained from numerical method. We also study a relationship between a distance of the elements and an effect of an electrical coupling among the elements. As the results, we confirmed that the electrical coupling degreases as increasing the distance of the elements and the RCS of the group target can be obtained accurately by array composition when the distance is sufficiently large.
