Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | We introduce an analytic signal for excitation source analysis of voiced sounds. The envelope of the signal is a six-term cosine series with a highly attenuated side-lobe level and steep decay. The proposed method takes advantages of recently advanced instruction sets for handling trigonometric functions and their inverse functions. These efficient instruction sets make more direct implementation of instantaneous frequency and group delay based on their definitions than the widely used implementation using Flanagan’s equation, which does not require phase unwrapping, a fragile and inefficient procedure. |
