Abstract(in English) | Reflection and radiation characteristics of electromagnetic surface waves in curved conducting guides andlines are fundamental problems for the high frequency transmission technology. These electromagnetic field problemsof reflection and radiation characteristics in curved conducting guides have not been investigated as rigorous mathematical problems. The author reported the useful and effective method of the conformal mapping and integral equation with the Green’s function for .complex electromagnetic boundary value problems. Reflection and radiation problems in curved waveguides are typical complex boundary value problems. Here, reflection and radiationcharacteristics in curved conducting plate guides are discussed by the method of conformal mapping and integral equationas two dimensional conducting plate guide problems. The curved conducting plate guide in the physical space is transformed to the straight conducting plate guide in new space by the conformal mapping using the analytic function. In new mapping space, integral equations for the Hertz vector fields are derived by the Green’s formula with the Green’sfunctions for the straight conducting guide. The curve characteristics are expressed by the metric coefficients in thewave equations in the new space. Reflection and radiation characteristics are studied by the Born’s iteration approximationfor the integral equation. |
