[Poster Presentation] On Beam-Pattern and Nulls toward Interferences in Multiuser MIMO Using Null-Space Extension

Abstract(in English) Multi-user massive MIMO (MU-MIMO) is one of the key technologies for the 5th generation mobile communication system(5G). To suppress the interference waves in the MU-MIMO reception system, null space extension method, which extended the dimension of interference wave, is known to keep out the degradation of SIR due to channel fluctuation. It has already been reported that the method forms nulls to the direction of each incident wave in Nakagami-Rice or Rayleigh fading channels with a few number of multipath waves. This paper shows that the influence to the performance of interference suppressing is limited even if the number of incident waves exceeds the array’s degree of freedom with computer simulations of SIR.
