[Poster Presentation] Device-free Indoor Localization utilizing BLE devices by controlling advertisement channels

Abstract(in English) Indoor localization has become a focus of research and development recently due tothe increasing demand for the indoor localization based service. In this research, a low-cost device-free indoor localization system by using Raspberry Pi is constructed. In our proposed system, the fingerprinting technique is employed, where the Received SignalStrength Indicator (RSSI) of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) is used as fingerprints. BLE transmitssignals on three different channels in sequence. In particular, we control and usethree different channels to enhance fingerprint's features in order to realize the systemwith high accuracy.
