Developing Real-time Face Identification Device Composable with Distributed Applications

Abstract(in English) In recent years, many applications which using face identification are developed. However, development load in creation of an application program using the face identification is high because of the tight coupling of each functions and lack of sharability of imaging device. To address this problem, in this research, we propose a new device named ``face identification sensor box'' which can realize loose coupling of function and high sharability. The proposed device uses cognitive API for face identification and notifies the result to application with Publish/Subscribe messaging model. Using this architecture, face identification results can be shared among with applications and design of application becomes easier.
