A time of arrival estimation method combining matched filter and IHT Compressed Sensing for target point identification

Abstract(in English) Compressed sensing (CS) is a promising signal processing method for time of arrival estimation in high resolution via solving an ill-posed problem. To reduce the computational cost of CS, iterative hard thresholding (IHT) is attracting much attention. IHT allows high speed and high resolution estimating, but requires prior information of the target number in original signal. Due to the prior information is usually not available, IHT has not achieved wide range use and implementation. In this paper, we propose target number estimation method based on CS, i.e., combining matched filter for obtaining the prior information with IHT. We conduct computer simulation to evaluate the capability of the proposed method.
