Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper describes the application of VR technologies especially to orchard agriculture such as apple. Various research works have been made to replace manpower, such as harvesting of apple fruit, with robots. They, however, have not been introduced due to the difficulty of technology and the cost problem since apple trees are large and provide wide work areas and apple fruits are randomly arranged. In the orchard agriculture for the time being, there seems to be works that rely on manpower. The working population in the orchard agriculture is decreasing, and skill succession of expert farmers becomes a big problem. In this paper, VR technologies are examined for skill succession of expert farmers.
