Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Accurate and cost-efficient radio environment mapping (REM) is of great importance to realize dynamic spectrum sharing. Two kinds of existing approaches, i.e., propagation model based approaches and sensor monitoring based approaches, are suffering from either inaccurate spectrum availability or high deployment cost. An alternative is to combine crowdsourcing and geo-statistical interpolation techniques. In this work, we propose a novel learning-based REM method which utilizes decision tree to select the crowdsourcing measurements for a given interpolated spot. The evaluation results show that the proposed method outperms the existing method by using map information.
