Imaging Performance of Bistatic SAR on Sea Surface

Abstract(in English) We analyze the impact of acquisition geometry on imaging performance, including the spatial resolution, of GNSS-based synthetic aperture radar (SAR) in general bistatic configurations, with receiver systems moving along independent trajectories, based on numerous realizations of bistatic SAR. The gradient method is utilized to point out the effects of the acquisition geometry, namely, position and velocity of both the transmitter and the receiver, on image resolution.
