Proposal of Esophageal Speech Training Device with Myoelectric Signal

Abstract(in English) The patients who undergo the laryngectomy lose their voice. One of the speech production substitutes that are used by vocal handicapped person is esophageal speech method. This method does not need any device and its sound quality is very good, but it is very difficult to learn because of there is no established training method. Therefore, we aim to develop the efficient training device for esophageal speech with bio signal. In this report, we describe about the activation analysis of muscles involved with the esophageal speech method by myoelectric signal.
