Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | We discuss a target tracking method using the estimate of the three- dimensional target position and velocity obtained from the range sum and the Doppler sum observation by a multi-static radar. We should have highly tracking accuracy in order to maintain the track. We propose a Non-filter automobile tracking method because conventional Kalman-filter tracking method may not maintain a track for non-constant velocity target. In this paper, we compare tracking accuracy of the predicted values for the three target motion models (constant velocity, turn right, stop and go) in the case of 4 receiving antennas assuming vehicle surveillance at an intersection. We can conclude that conventional method has track maintenance capability only for the constant velocity target. However, the proposed method has track maintenance capability for any target motion model. Moreover, in the proposed method, the tracking accuracy becomes better when using additional velocity estimate as compared with using only position estimate. |
