Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | This paper presents an efficient Ring-LWE cryptographic hardware architecture based on number theoretic transformation. The Ring-LWE cryptography is one of the promising post quantum cryptosystems and excellent in balance between security and practicality. It can also be used for secret calculations that can utilize data in an encrypted domain. In this paper, considering that the multiplication over polynomial quotient rings is dominant for the encryption/decryption of the Ring-LWE cryptosystem, we describe a hardware architecture that efficiently performs over a finite field. In particular, we show the datapath improved in the arithmetic operation part and evaluate its effectiveness with an expermiental FPGA implementation. |
