Abstract(in English) | In this report, we propose a method to automatically configure the size of a Transmittable Area (TA) for Information Floating (IF). Epidemic communication spatially spreads information by direct wireless communication and movement of mobile nodes having information. IF spatially spreads information preventing disordered diffusion by permitting mobile nodes to transmit information only in TAs. If we know the environment for IF described by the density, the velocities, the distribution of mobile nodes and the communication range is known in advance, we can design the size of a TA that realizes the desired performance based on the relation between the environment and the performance. However, it is possible that an initial mobile node that begins IF does not know the condition of mobile nodes surrounding itself. Considering such situations, we propose a method to automatically configure the size of a TA. This method consists of two parts. One is a method that the initial node measures the condition of mobile nodes surrounding the initial node, computes the size of TA and begins IF. The other is a method that continuously and automatically updates the size of TA after IF begins. |
