Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently many kinds of disaster occurred in anywhere of Japan, such as earthquake, typhoon and flood. 2018 Great West Japan Rainfall caused wide-area damage with landslides and floods. Against this disaster, local governments had to respond, however they did not have enough human and physical resources, so they ask other agencies to help themselves. For managing this situation effectively, it is said that common operational picture, which represents the damage situation, is necessary. In this research, we tried to clarify the damaged building ratio in each local government for developing common operational picture. This ratio was calculated by dividing the amount of damaged buildings reported by Fire and Disaster Management Agency by population in each local government. After this calculation, we developed the damage situation map based on the ratio day by day. Furthermore, we published this work through the Crisis Response Site implemented by National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Resilience in Japan.
