| Abstract(in English) | Japanese government has been trying to reform work style in Japan. One of work style reforms is flexible work style like telework. Telework might be important for nomadic workers who go around and work at not only their own offices but also foreign places which are away from their own offices like other univeristies, cafes and so on. In a foreign place, a nomadic worker usually needs to set up Virtual Private Network (VPN) in order to access to his or her office network. When a nomadic worker moves from a foreign palce to other foreign palce, the nomadic worker should set up VPN for each foreign place. This VPN setup may be troublesome for the nomadic worker. In order to reduce this VPN setup cost, this paper proposes to authenticate a nomadic worker by network authentication and automatically provide secure access network. The proposed method can also reduce operational cost for network operators. We are trying to implement the proposed authentication on an experimental SINET data collection infrastructure. |
